For producers

If you produce honey in New Zealand, we'd like to stock you

NZ Mānuka Honeyis a new online shop that sells only sealed jars from producers it names, with the grade shown exactly as printed. We're opening our first wholesale accounts now. This page says exactly what we'd ask of you, and exactly what we'd never do with your brand.

What we'd ask for

Five things, in writing

  1. That online resale is allowed, and the recommended retail price you'd want us to hold.
  2. Permission to use your product photos, product names and label text on this site.
  3. For every graded jar: the UMF™ grade and licence holder number exactly as printed, and that the licence is current. We check it against UMFHA's certified-brand list and record the date.
  4. For every floral jar: the type and any “raw” wording exactly as your label states it.
  5. Whether you drop-ship, or whether we buy and hold the stock — we're set up to hold it.
What we'd never do

Your jar stays your jar

  • We never decant, repack or relabel. Your honey is sold in your own sealed, labelled jars.
  • We never put a grade of our own on anything — we hold no UMF™ licence and never will.
  • We never write your flavour notes. Your words, credited to you, or nothing.
  • We never invent a rating, a review or a “bestseller” badge for your product.
  • We never make a health claim about your honey, even if your own copy does.
  • We never call you a partner, or say you endorse us, unless you've said we can.
Being straight with you

Where we actually are

We have no signed accounts, no stock and no sales, and we're not going to imply otherwise to get an account opened. We're building the shop first, publishing the sourced guides first, and collecting a waitlist so there's some demand evidence to show you when we talk.

What we can offer at this stage is small, honest orders paid on your own terms, your name on every product page, a link to your own shop, and a shop that will never undercut your own grade language. What we can't offer yet is volume.

You can see how we write about producers today on the price table and the raw honey range. If you're on either and would rather not be, ask and we'll take it down.

So we can read what you already publish.
Optional now, needed before an account opens.
e.g. UMF 5+–20+ mānuka, clover, rewarewa, kāmahi.
If you hold one. We'll check it against UMFHA's list and record the date.
Or tell us your minimum order and terms in the message.
